Our Preferred Impeachment Bills

DRAFT ONE, CRIMINAL CABAL IN THE EXECUTIVE:

Resolved, that the crime of "conspiracy against the U.S." as defined by a
constitutional law expert, Elizabeth de la Vega, has occurred and that its prosecution
will necessarily include both the Vice President and the President of the United
States. WE demand the impeaching of the whole criminal cabal, not just one
executive officer at a time, for the crime of "conspiracy", taking the country to war in
Iraq under false pretenses.

DRAFT TWO, IMPEACH CHENEY FIRST:

Resolved, that Richard B. Cheney, vice president of the United States, should be
impeached for treason against the U.S., high crimes against the U.S. Constitution
and misdemeanors against U.S. law. The Vice President has repeatedly promoted
the interests of corporations, namely Halliburton KBR and Bechtel, over the interests
of the nation, causing untold harm to America, as well as making him personally
liable for a proportion of the estimated 650,000 civilian deaths in Iraq since the U.S.
invasion. He lied the country into war for the sake of corporate profits, disregarding
the cost in human lives. Source: "The People vs. Richard Cheney" GQ article: http:

DRAFT THREE, WARMONGER-IN-CHIEF:

Resolved, that George W. Bush, president of the United States, should be
impeached for treason, high crimes and misdemeanors. The imperative for
impeachment does not come out of a sense of revenge, or partisanship.
"Impeachment is a constitutional requirement that must not be expediently avoided
and must be set back on the table." –Cindy Sheehan. A murderous president,
callously disregarding American lives and the lives of other nations, must be
impeached and imprisoned, so that future presidents of the U.S. do not think they
are above the law. Impeachment is the minimum legal reminder that the Nuremberg
Principles apply to the U.S., that they are equally valid for the victors of WWII as they
were for the Nazis.
